Requirements：
One contract-based part-time EMI Mentor/English teacher with CEFR C2 English level is needed. The appointee will serve as the EMI mentor for the Bilingual Education Office and engage in teaching/developing general English and advanced ESP/EAP/ESAP/EMI bridging courses and materials and help with related work in the Language Center. Master/Doctoral diplomas should be with authentication and official seals. MOE teaching or teacher certificates are preferred.

Expertise:
MA or higher degree in TESOL, applied linguistics, language acquisition, testing and assessment, English literature/culture, and other related fields.

How to Apply：
The following documents are required for the application：
1. Curriculum vitae, autobiography (which include a headshot photo, photocopies of ID and passport, and contact information), List of publications and Form for requesting inspection of a diploma obtained overseas.
2. Photocopies of the highest degree diploma (with Chinese translation and authentication of signatures and official seals of ROC embassies and consulates or representative offices authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in foreign countries), personal ID, and passport.
Copies of graduate transcripts (with Chinese translation and authentication of signatures and official seals of ROC embassies and consulates or representative offices authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in foreign countries).
3. Copies of proof of working experiences (including the current one). (Overseas working experiences are required with Chinese translation and authentication of signatures and official seals of ROC embassies and consulates or representative offices authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in foreign countries).
4. Personal entry and exit records certified by the National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior (not required for applicants who are not an overseas degree holder or who have already obtained a teaching certificate issued by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan; foreigners who hold the academic degree outside of their home country shall provide relevant entry and exit records issued by the authorities of their home country).
5. A photocopy of the teaching certificate issued by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan (if available).

7. The candidates selected after the initial review will be noticed to attend the interview & teaching demonstration. (Please specify in the letter and include a stamped addressed envelope if you want your application materials returned.)
8. Condition of employment: Part-time, 6-month renewable position; renewal depends on work performance and NTPU’s BEST program application status. The starting date is February 1, 2025.

• Applicants with a teacher certificate for tertiary education issued by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, do not need to provide the documents listed in 2 and 4.
