English Language Specialist Program – EMI Teacher Training
National Taipei University, National Tsing Hua University, and the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) are jointly offering the English Language Specialist Program. This fully online program provides EMI teacher training at Entry, Junior, and Senior levels, tailored to participants’ EMI teaching experience and the country in which they obtained their highest academic degree.
Participants who complete each level and fulfill participation requirements will receive an EMI Teacher Training Certificate issued by AIT.
Full-time faculty members at NTPU who complete the program and obtain the certificate may apply for a training subsidy ranging from NTD 5,000 to NTD 30,000. Faculty members are warmly encouraged to register and participate.

Principal Investigator of the Real-Time Monitoring of Dynamic English Listening (ReMoDEL) project
He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Aston University (UK). His research interests include second language (L2) listening instruction, listening theories, and action research.
