I. Important Notes for Students Retaking or Making Up the Course
1. Students who are only retaking or making up the “College English” course for the 2nd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year (including transfer students) must complete the [Course Retake/Make-up Registration Form for the 2nd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year] by March 4, 2026, or visit the Language Center in person (Room 308, 3rd Floor, College of Humanities, Sanxia Campus) to fill out the registration form.
2. If you're retaking or making up the full-year course, you don't need to register again. The system will automatically carry over your course schedule from the previous semester, making the process simpler for you.
3. The Language Center will arrange classes based on the time slots students select in the registration form. Students do not need to select the course in the system manually.
4. Reminders:
(1) Students who fail to register before the deadline will not be permitted to retake or make up the College English course in the 2nd semester. This is a strict policy, so please ensure you meet the deadline.
(2) Please choose your preferred class time carefully to avoid placement issues. Once you've submitted your registration, it's important not to make any changes. This responsible and careful approach will help us ensure a smooth registration process for everyone.

II. Important Notes for Students Exempt from Retake/Make-up (Course Withdrawal)
1. For students exempt from retake/make-up, the “College English” course is a full-year course. The course registration system will automatically carry over the class schedule from the previous semester. This information will help you feel informed and prepared for the upcoming semester.
2. Students who only took “College English” in the 1st semester of the 2025/2026 academic year must complete the course withdrawal process for 114-2 “College English.” Please fill out the [Course Withdrawal Registration Form for the 2nd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year] by March 4, 2026, or visit the Language Center in person (Room 308, 3rd Floor, College of Humanities, Sanxia Campus) to complete the registration.
3. The first round of course selection for the 2nd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year will begin on December 30, 2025. We strongly advise students to complete the withdrawal registration as early as possible to avoid any course selection conflicts caused by not dropping “College English.” This proactive approach will give you more control over your academic schedule.
