Course Registration for Repeating or Making Up Undergraduate College English Courses Fall Semester, Academic Year 2026–2027 (AY 115-1)

I. Students with Student ID No. 4113XXXXX or Earlier
1. Repeating or Making Up the Year-long General Education College English Course
Students (including transfer students) who wish to repeat or make up the year-long General Education College English course in the Fall Semester of AY 115 must complete registration by 5:00 p.m., September 4, 2026.

You may register by either of the following methods:

Visit the Language Center (Room 308, 3rd Floor, College of Humanities Building, Sanxia Campus) and complete the Course Registration Form for Repeat/Make-up Students.

 

2. Class Placement
Class placement results will be uploaded to the student course registration system by September 6, 2026.
Students do not need to add the course themselves.
Classes will officially begin on Monday, September 7, or Friday, September 11, 2026, depending on the assigned class schedule.

 

3. Important Notes
Students who fail to register by the deadline will not be allowed to repeat or make up the College English course during this semester.
Please choose your preferred class time carefully. To facilitate class placement, changes to the selected time slot will not be accepted after registration.

 

II. Students with Student ID No. 4114XXXXX

1. Repeating or Making Up the Year-long General Education College English Course
Please follow the same registration procedures and regulations described in Section I (Items 1–3) above.

 

2. Repeating or Making Up the Thematic College English Course (Required Elective)
(1)Course registration will be available from September 9 to September 14, 2026.
(2)Students must register for the course through the university's course registration system.
(3)Students must enroll in the class offered during the designated time slot assigned to their department. Cross-time registration is not permitted. Please refer to Appendix 1 for the class schedule of each department.                 

 

3. Students Without GSAT English Scores or Transfer Students
(1)Students who do not have a GSAT English score and have not submitted a valid English proficiency test score are required to take the English Placement Test administered by the Language Center.
(2)Please note that this placement test is for course placement purposes only. It cannot be used for course exemption or credit waiver.
(3)Test Sessions (Choose One):
Wednesday, September 2, 2026 (13:30-15:00、15:00-16:30、16:30-18:00)
Monday, September 7, 2026 (08:30-10:00、13:30-15:00、15:00-16:30)
(Additional sessions, if any, will be announced separately.)

(4)Test Venue:
Room 506, 5th Floor, College of Humanities Building, Sanxia Campus.

(5)Application:
Please submit your application by 12:00 noon on September 1, 2026, via the designated online application form.
